½ cup honey any variety you prefer but I recommend a floral honey like orange blossom or clover. ¼ cup hot water
This recipe yields a thicker honey syrup. For a thinner syrup, add more hot water, a little at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
Store any leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one month.
You can also make this recipe by combining the ingredients in a small pot over medium heat. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
