Slice tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices, sprinkle with salt, and allow to rest for 15-20 minutes, then pat dry.
Set up a dredging station and dip the tomato slices in an egg and hot sauce mixture, then coat in cornmeal, flour and seasonings.
Air fry for 5 minutes, then spray with cooking spray, flip the slices and cook until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
