Pickling Cucumbers White Vinegar | Sugar Sweet Onion | Hot Water Kosher Salt | Pepper
Add hot water, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper into a heat-proof jar and shake until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
Add thinly sliced cucumbers and sweet onion to the jar, and make sure all the vegetables are covered with liquid.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Remove pickles and onions from the brine with a fork or slotted spoon to serve.
